Aaron was born in Melbourne in 1996. His father was the Australian-born son of Ten-Pound Poms. His mother, a first-gen immigrant of Malaysian Chinese heritage. Together they instilled in him a deep appreciation and loyalty for Australia, not only from the perspective of someone who has known their homeland from birth, but of someone who can see a nation’s worth and standing from beyond her own shores.

“I was born into a country that scarcely recognised its own good fortune. It was a land of quiet trust, where a handshake still carried weight, of modest yet respectable industry, of affordable homes, and of quaint traditions and customs that gave life a uniquely Australian character. In school we would sing The Seeker’s famous ‘I am Australian’, which proudly anchored us to our colonial origins, reminded us of the hardships endured by the ordinary men and women who built this nation from nothing, honoured the heritage of all, and reaffirmed the promise that we would ‘sing with one voice’”.

Aaron does not see politics as a career, but as a calling. He has opened his eyes, beheld the works of the Liberal-Labor uniparty over the last thirty years and despaired.

“Both major parties have embarked on a mass migration and multicultural nation-building strategy, based on the foolish and arrogant notion that peoples and cultures are interchangeable, that our differences are trivial, and that you can build a strong, unified society based on a civic identity alone. We have been sold their lies for decades, and now we are waking up to the consequences of those lies.”

Aaron believes that he can put his work ethic, analytical mind, and professional experiences as a lawyer and court advocate to the task of fighting for Victorians who have watched their great state broken by 12 years of Labor rule.

“It is my sincerest wish that my son will get to live in a Victoria that is once again the ‘Garden State’ for a prosperous, honourable and free, Australian people.”
