Meet Adrian Dowell, One Nation’s candidate for Monbulk.

A true local and long-term resident of Cockatoo, Adrian has also lived in Tecoma, Boronia, Upper Ferntree Gully and Selby. He is a father of three school-aged boys.

He has worked across transport, logistics, automotive repairs, telephony, retail and construction, and is now a registered building inspector. That work, in a heavily regulated field, is why he wants planning and building rules cut back to a sustainable level, with less red and green tape and administration that actually works.

He wants stronger support for local farming, agriculture, tourism, and small business, and better infrastructure in the hills so those industries can create local jobs. He will also work to keep industrial wind turbines out of the electorate.

As a parent, he says schools and sporting clubs have no business indoctrinating children.

Adrian believes government is of the people, not above them, and must govern by Australian community values.

Schools must focus on teaching kids how to think, not what to think.
