Meet Brooke Carter, One Nation’s candidate for Oakleigh.

For more than 25 years Brooke has worked in the legal system and the public sector. That has given her a clear view of both the strengths and the shortcomings of government and the justice system. She has also studied migration law, and has seen how immigration decisions can shape communities.

Many Victorians are worried about community safety, repeat offending, and the support available to victims of crime. Brooke’s answer is practical: government must keep people safe, strengthen accountability, and apply the law fairly and consistently. Victims should be supported. Communities should feel secure.

Her focus is strong leadership, public safety, responsibility, respect and common sense. She believes Victoria needs change — and the leadership to build a stronger, safer and more stable future for the next generation.

I will be unapologetically tough on crime. I believe in strong sentencing, real law and order, and stricter bail for violent offenders.
