Catherine Loughnan has lived in Melbourne’s West for 45 years and spent almost four decades in business. Throughout her career, she has owned and managed small businesses, worked in family business, managed retirement villages and now works in logistics and transport, managing major national accounts.

She holds a Graduate Diploma in Business and brings decades of experience in leadership, negotiation, problem-solving and financial responsibility.

She is not a career politician. She is standing for Williamstown because she believes it is time to give back to her community and to Victoria.

Her 45 years in the West have given her a strong understanding of the communities surrounding Williamstown. She wants to bring that experience to Parliament and ensure the local community has a strong voice.

The cost of living is putting enormous pressure on families and small businesses. Crime and community safety are major concerns.

"Williamstown needs practical solutions, accountability and responsible management of taxpayers’ money. Welfare and community services must be sustainable and focused on those who genuinely need support."

She is also concerned about the growing pressure on Melbourne’s western communities.

"The rapid expansion of major data centres raises serious questions about energy, water, infrastructure, safety, the environment and the long-term impact on local communities."

She wants to bring her business experience into Parliament - managing budgets, negotiating outcomes, solving problems and being accountable for results. She will listen to residents, work with local businesses and advocate for better outcomes.

Her focus will be a safer, stronger and more prosperous Williamstown, with responsible development, better infrastructure, support for local businesses and services that work.

As a grandmother, she wants to leave the next generation a Victoria we can be proud of.

"Williamstown deserves practical leadership and a strong local advocate.", she said.

As a One Nation candidate, she is ready to bring her experience, energy and commitment to Parliament.
