Meet Cody Rebbechi, One Nation’s candidate for Mulgrave.

Raised in Melbourne’s south-east, Cody values hard work, integrity, empathy and respect.

A logistics professional, his career has spanned retail and hospitality management, repair services and disability support. He brings real-world experience and business sense, and is proudest of the work he has done helping others, particularly the disadvantaged.

Over the years, he has volunteered with local charities, raised money for relief efforts and advocated for local businesses.

He is standing because he wants real change for his community. A renter in Springvale with his wife since 2018, he has seen rents more than double, crime become more visible, businesses close or cut staff, and infrastructure fail to keep pace with population growth. He does not believe the Victorian government has heard these concerns.

He has seen high taxes and regulation weigh on families and small businesses, and the despair that stops many young Australians from pursuing careers or starting families.

He wants community safety restored, a review of how justice is handed down, and Victorian spending reined in so cost-of-living pressures can be eased and future inflation risks better managed.

Living in one of Melbourne’s most ethnically diverse areas, he takes pride in engaging with people from many cultural backgrounds but fears our loss of a national identity. Travel abroad gave him a greater appreciation for Melbourne’s social cohesion as being something rare in the world, and possible only because of our culture.

To protect that cohesion and remain a welcoming nation, he believes Australian culture should be something we are proud of, and that it must be asserted in our education and law, not shamed.

Cody seeks to be a proactive voice for all people of Mulgrave, and believes One Nation’s values best represent what Victoria needs now.
