Donna Buxton is a speech pathologist and small business owner who began her career as a primary school teacher. She has spent much of her working life supporting children, families and communities across regional Victoria.

Born and raised in Traralgon, Donna worked as a teacher in government and independent schools before moving into speech pathology. She now runs her own practice, providing services to children and adults in rural communities.

Through her work in education and health and her lived experience of disability, Donna understands the importance of accessible health, disability and community services. She has seen firsthand the challenges regional Victorians face in accessing essential services and the pressures on families and small businesses when rural communities are overlooked in decisions made in Melbourne.

Donna is particularly concerned about the cost of living, access to health and essential services, Victoria’s growing debt and the impact of government policy on farmers and regional communities. She believes farmers and landholders deserve a genuine voice when major infrastructure projects affect productive farmland, livelihoods and communities.

As a mother of three adult sons, family and the future we create for the next generation are important to her.

Donna believes regional communities deserve representatives who listen, understand life outside Melbourne and speak up when government decisions are not working for them.

She is standing as One Nation's candidate for Ripon because regional Victorians need a stronger voice in Parliament and practical, common-sense representation focused on the issues affecting everyday people.

For Donna, standing for Parliament is not about building a political career. It is about stepping forward, having a voice and helping to create a better future for regional Victorians.
