Elita Dabrowski is a Sunbury local, mother, health practitioner and small-business owner who believes Australians deserve representatives who understand the realities of everyday life and are prepared to speak up when something isn't working.

Born and raised in Australia and growing up in Melbourne's north-west, Elita comes from a migrant family background. Her father migrated from Indonesia and her husband also migrated to Australia. Both embraced Australia as their home, shaping Elita's belief that people from different backgrounds can share a strong Australian identity, common values and commitment to our country's future.

As a mother who has also experienced single parenthood, and now as a daughter of ageing parents, Elita understands the pressures families face across different stages of life.

For many years, Elita has worked as a naturopath in Sunbury. Her work has taught her to listen, look beyond the immediate problem and ask what is actually driving it. As a small-business owner, she also understands the challenges of building a business, supporting a family and remaining financially independent.

Elita had never considered herself particularly political. However, she became increasingly concerned that governments were not listening to the communities they represent. She has always believed that if you identify a problem, you should be prepared to contribute to the solution. That belief ultimately led her to put her hand up.

Elita chose to stand with One Nation because she believes in practical, common-sense government that puts Australians first, supports families and small businesses, strengthens community safety and holds government accountable.

She wants to bring her practical, problem-solving approach to Parliament and be a strong voice for the people of Sunbury.
