ABOUT US
Joshua Mathews is a hardworking Victorian who believes government should respect those who work hard, raise families, pay taxes and contribute to their communities.
Joshua studied an Advanced Diploma in Legal Practice at Victoria University and has worked in his family’s construction business and as a school bus driver. He has also volunteered with various charitable organisations, supporting people and communities in need. These experiences have given him a practical understanding of the pressures facing everyday Victorians.
Driving school children each day is a regular reminder that the decisions made today shape the opportunities available to the next generation. Joshua wants our children to inherit a state with opportunity, strong communities and a future they can look forward to.
Joshua is deeply concerned about waste and cost overruns associated with Victoria’s Big Build, including claims that around $15 billion of taxpayers’ money has been lost through mismanagement, blowouts and corruption, while essential services fall behind.
From pothole-riddled roads and rising crime to under-resourced emergency services and taxes that discourage investment and growth, Joshua believes Victorians deserve better. He believes in policies that offer a hand up, not just a handout — helping people build independence, pursue their ambitions and create a better future for themselves and their families.
Joshua is standing with One Nation to bring a practical, common-sense voice to Parliament, protect taxpayers’ money, reward hard work and help build a stronger future for Victoria. It’s time Victoria, to believe for better!
