Meet Kellie Sheppard, your One Nation candidate for Benambra. 

Devoted to leaving her children the legacy of knowing their mother stood up for their future, Kellie is an enthusiastic advocate for youth, health and regional resources.

Kellie brings with her a wealth of lived experience, and offers three firm promises to the people of Benambra: That she will work relentlessly to ensure that their voices are heard in parliament. That her representation of their needs will always be conducted with honesty and integrity and, that she will be available and approachable to listen. 

Having raised five children in a blended family environment whilst operating two small businesses, and running a small lifestyle farm in Osbornes Flat, Kellie is acutely aware of the current government’s failings with regard to regional resources for families, health, small business, education and cost of living. 

A thirty-year professional writer, Kellie’s career history also incorporates property and Directorship of a national health NFP providing patient support and GP education. Her heart, however, belongs to building strength and connection in communities.

Volunteering and leading community initiatives since her early teens, Kellie was nominated for a Pride of Australia Medal and received an International Women’s Day Award in 2014 in recognition of her tireless efforts to be of service.

Raw, real and a touch rebellious, Kellie lives her conviction that, if there is even a chance that she can affect positive change, she must try. This is her sole driving force in standing for the district of Benambra.
