Paul Ballinger was born and raised in Ballarat, the second eldest of 5 children, by coincidence, Paul has raised 5 amazing children of his own and says being a dad is his greatest ever privilege.

Paul’s career has been varied as an employee and business owner - he worked in Finance for close to 30 years. Paul is also a qualified carpenter and joiner and worked as a construction supervisor for a major building company. Paul has owned a video hire business and a retail newsagency this has given great insight on how government policy directly affects outcomes for business owners.

Paul wants the people of Victoria thrive, not just survive.

“Cost-of-living pressures must be addressed; good policy drives great outcomes and that has been sadly lacking in Victoria.”
