Meet Paul Stafford - One Nation candidate for Frankston

Father of three and a proud Australian, Paul is frustrated by what he sees as the systematic destruction of Victoria through continued poor leadership and incompetence.

Paul arrived in Australia from the UK in the late 1980s after completing a hospitality qualification and building a career with some of the UK's leading breweries. He immediately felt that Australia was home.

After working with some of Australia's biggest hospitality and entertainment companies, Paul moved to Victoria in the late 1990s and has called the state home ever since.

Over the course of his career, Paul has worked alongside leading Australian entrepreneurs and hospitality operators. For the past decade, he has operated his own business, managing teams, taking financial responsibility and gaining firsthand experience of running a business in Victoria.

He is someone who believes in rolling up his sleeves and getting things done - not just talking about problems, but taking responsibility, making difficult decisions and finding solutions.

During COVID, Paul took a leap of faith and completed qualifications in accounting, combining his passion for business with his love of numbers.

Outside of work, Paul is a passionate motorcyclist and is involved with several charities and fundraising groups, including the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride for Frankston and the Peninsula. He continues to read and study business avidly.

"I want to restore Australia's “can-do” spirit. One that rewards hard work, respects Australian culture and gives people the opportunity to build a better future."
