Phil Bryant believes hard work, community ties, and determination will allow Shepparton to overcome any challenge. A first-time candidate, his love for his home drives his commitment to securing a better future for the next generation.

After school, Phil served 7.5 years in the defence force, embedding values of discipline, teamwork, leadership, and accountability. Returning to his hometown of Dookie, he and his wife, Ruth, raised their children. "Dookie is more than just a town and raising our family here has been one of my greatest rewards. I couldn't have wished for a better place to call home."

Phil’s career spans small business and retail leadership. Co-owning a family business for 10 years gave him firsthand insight into the daily pressures, red tape, and economic hurdles owners face. He then spent nearly 20 years as a retail manager, leading teams and connecting with the public. He is also active in regional sports, coaching and participating in local cricket, netball, football, and bowls clubs.

Service defines Phil. A CFA volunteer for over 30 years, he protects his community and served on interstate taskforces.

"Emergency services and first responders put themselves in danger everyday making our community safe. It’s only right that we provide them with the support they need to get the job done and make it home safe each night."

Phil argues mainstream politicians are out of touch with regional areas and everyday realities. "Over the last 12 years, small businesses have suffered under high taxes, poor government decisions, and damaging Covid policies. One Nation is the only party with the vision and determination to make the changes needed for a better future in Victoria."

As Shepparton's candidate, Phil champions thriving businesses, growing families, and proud Australians. "I'm running because I want to make our state and country a better place for my children and future generations. I always stand up and fight for what is right, regardless of the cost."
