Steve Goodman grew up on the family dairy farm in Gippsland; there he developed the strong work ethics he still has today. Upon leaving school he worked for a few years on the forestry, learning, protecting and encompassing his love for the bush and the sustainable resource it is.  

After travelling Australia and turning his hand at many different jobs.  Steve purchased a property in Tinamba. Whilst raising a family Steve worked as a fitter for a local engineering works specialising in pumps. They then moved to the mid-west of WA where he spent 12 years running major earthworks and civil construction projects.  Before returning home to Tinamba.

Whilst inter-state Steve kept a keen interest in the Victorian state politics closely, and as a result was determined to come home and make a difference. Steve is focused on seeing East Gippsland and the state of Victoria return to the rich and diverse economic success of the past.  He believes One Nation the only option for the serious change we need.

With the backing of One Nation Steve is hoping to assist the people of East Gippsland tackle the cost-of-living crisis, improve health care and the state of the roads whilst reducing the rising rate of crime.

One of Steves strengths is his ability to listen and he has said the need to listen and act for the people of Gippsland East is paramount for our region and standing with One Nation will make this goal achievable.

Steve’s has mentioned on numerous occasions not just the state of the roads but the waste of money in the haphazard attempts at band aid repairs.  

Steve would like to reduce the hurdles and red tape, whilst increasing Police numbers to help combat the rising drug and crime issues faced by our state.  Another focus area for Steve would be improving the health care system for both staff and users.

Being a small business owner, he is fully aware of the changes needed. One Nation being such a proactive party we can definitely make these changes.
