Trevor is a dedicated family man and self-employed tradesman who has run his own business in the local area for more than 43 years. A proud Victorian, he has spent decades working in the building industry and understands firsthand the pressures facing local families and small businesses.

His commitment to the community extends beyond his business. He played a key role in raising awareness about a proposed hazardous-waste transfer station and stood his ground for weeks despite pressure from government officials. His experience demonstrated that when locals work together and refuse to back down, they can achieve real results.

“If I say I’m going to fight for something, I fight. I don’t back down when it comes to standing up for my community.”

Trevor supports common sense policies focused on tackling crime, reducing the cost of living, improving housing affordability and strengthening energy security. He wants stronger action on youth crime and graffiti, alongside practical measures to make local communities safer.

He supports increased baseload coal and gas energy production to help reduce electricity costs, while supporting renewable energy where it can compete without government subsidies. In his view, cheaper, more reliable energy can help reduce household costs and inflation and put more money back into family budgets.

Locally, he wants greater investment in roads, improved children’s parks, more activities for teenagers and infrastructure that keeps pace with a growing community.

“We need real local people who can connect with their communities, with new ideas and fresh policies, not the empty election promises we hear all the time. We need real representation from politicians who stay out of our lives instead of career politicians who simply tow the party line.”

Trevor is seeking the opportunity to be a strong voice for Narre Warren South and deliver the representation and investment in local infrastructure the community deserves.
