Jason Oosthuizen

Jason is a father and long-time Grampians local.

Born overseas, Jason immigrated to Australia in 2005 and moved straight to the Grampians region with his family, where he has spent the vast majority of his adult life.

A CFA member since 2007, he has contributed to his community through years of volunteer service while raising a family and building roots in regional Victoria.

Although he relocated away from the area in 2022, Jason is returning to be closer to family and to re-engage fully with the region he calls home.

At 36, he is not a career politician. He is a practical community member motivated by a clear goal: to fight for Victoria and ensure the next generation including his own children can grow up with the opportunities, security and quality of life they deserve.

Jason brings local knowledge, community commitment and a determination to put regional voices first.
