Seva’s life story is one shared by many who came to Australia from places affected by war, social unrest or economic hardship, seeking peace, safety and a stable future.

Born in the USSR in what is now Ukraine, Seva migrated to Australia with his parents at the age of six. He arrived without having attended school and without speaking English. Through hard work and a love of reading, he quickly embraced the language and opportunities of his new home.

After finishing school, Seva attended Monash University, completing a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. His studies gave him a deeper understanding of human nature, the world around him and the lessons history can teach us when shaping the future.

Seva then entered the workforce, spending time at NAB, where he gained valuable insight into the corporate world and the financial system that underpins the Australian economy.

As technology became an increasingly important part of modern life, Seva returned to tertiary study. During COVID, he completed a Certificate IV in Cybersecurity at Victoria University and has worked in the cybersecurity field ever since.

Outside of his professional life, Seva is a devoted husband and father. He has been supported by his wife, who has stood beside him for more than a decade, and together they are raising their two young children.

Seva joined One Nation because he believes Australia’s future is worth protecting. Having experienced firsthand the opportunities Australia provided his family, he believes it is now his responsibility to help preserve those opportunities for future generations.

Australia gave his family a second chance at a brighter future. Seva sees standing for public office as his opportunity to return the favour.
