Major projects have blown out by billions with no real consequences. Contract variations have been buried. Ministers have misled Parliament and walked away untouched. Inquiries have been limited, delayed, or designed to protect the government instead of exposing the truth. At the same time, ordinary Victorians have watched their cost of living rise while being assured that everything is under control.
This did not happen by accident. It is the result of a political culture that treats transparency as optional, treats accountability as a threat, and treats the public as an audience to be managed rather than the owners of the state.
One Nation will rebuild that trust the only way it can be rebuilt: by forcing the system into the open, then judging schools, hospitals and public agencies on what they actually deliver.
Our Policies
Follow the Money
YourMoney.vic.gov.au
Every dollar the Victorian government spends will sit in full public view. The whole of government.
On a project, the public file will follow the money. First the business case that said the work was needed. Then the tender, every bid that came back, and a plain statement of why the winner was chosen. Then the contract. Then every variation within 30 days of being signed, with the original price still on the page and the name of the official who approved the change. Then every invoice and every payment, so the figure announced on day one can be checked against what actually left the Treasury.
The rest of the state will sit on the same site. Grants, consultants, labour hire, advertising, staffing, rent, software, contingencies, department programs, and the ever-increasing interest bill. Each of those dollars will get a public line as soon as it is authorised: which department paid it, which program it sat under, who received it, what it was for, when it went out, who signed it, and what the budget said would be spent.
What we will do:
Corruption needs darkness. Take the darkness away and the deals that cannot survive daylight do not get done. We will treat your money like it is your money, because it is.

Royal Commissions
Victoria needs full public accountability for two of the biggest failures of the past decade: the cost blowouts and mismanagement of the Big Build, and the handling of the COVID response.
What we will do:
These were not minor administrative errors. They involved tens of billions of dollars of public money and profound impacts on Victorian lives and livelihoods. The public is entitled to a full, independent examination with the power to compel evidence and make findings. If you don’t learn from the past, you are doomed to make the same mistakes in the future.
One Nation will not accept another internal review or limited inquiry that buries the truth. We will have Royal Commissions with real powers, and we will pursue the consequences that follow from their findings.
The Treaty
Victorians already voted on this. In 2023, Australians decisively rejected the Federal Voice to Parliament. Victoria’s Labor Government ignored that result and pushed ahead anyway, creating Gellung Warl, a permanent, taxpayer-funded body.
The Statewide Treaty Act 2025 locks in ongoing funding of roughly $70 million every year, automatically rising by 2.5 per cent, plus tens of millions more in capital expenditure. It is a protected line in the state budget while families struggle with the cost of living and frontline services fight for every extra dollar.
