Bondi Terrorist Attack: When Government Failure Costs Innocent Lives

The terrorist attack in Bondi has once again shattered the sense of safety Australians should be able to take for granted. Our heart is with the Australian Jewish community and with all those affected by this horrific act of violence.
No one in this country should ever live in fear or be targeted because of who they are or what they believe.
Moments like this demand more than condolences. They demand honesty, responsibility, and accountability from those entrusted with governing our nation.

Government Failure to Confront the Real Threat
What makes the tragedy of the Bondi terrorist attack even more confronting is the ongoing failure of government leadership to address the real threat facing Australia. To date, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has not condemned radical Islam, instead shifting focus toward firearms ownership and law-abiding Australians.
This response fundamentally ignores the problem.

Guns do not kill people — people kill people.

The issue is not the weapon. It is the individual wielding it, and the extremist ideology motivating their actions.
Cracking down on legal gun ownership punishes responsible citizens while doing nothing to deter terrorists, who have no regard for the law. Restricting lawful access to firearms will not stop extremists or jihadists determined to commit acts of violence.

A Pattern of Denial
For years, One Nation has warned about the risks posed by radical Islam and the failure of forced multiculturalism to promote genuine social cohesion. Instead of engaging in honest debate, those concerns were dismissed as “racist,” “Islamophobic,” or “divisive.”
Political correctness has consistently been prioritised over public safety.
The result is clear: when extremism, hatred, and lawlessness are tolerated or downplayed, innocent people pay the price. The Bondi terrorist attack is a stark reminder of that reality.
Australia cannot continue to ignore the consequences of uncontrolled immigration from culturally incompatible regions, combined with a refusal to enforce standards of conduct, allegiance, and respect for Australian law.

For decades, One Nation has led this fight when others were too afraid to speak. We warned about the dangers of radical Islam, the failure of forced multiculturalism, and the consequences of placing ideology above national cohesion.
Yet time and again, events have proven us (unfortunately) right.

One Nation recognises and condemns radical Islam as the issue, and we firmly oppose knee-jerk crackdowns on law-abiding firearms owners that do nothing to improve public safety.

One Nation will continue to say what others will not — because honesty, not political correctness, is what Australia needs.
