David is a father of four, Victorian born and bred, and has spent more than 40 years working, building businesses and contributing to his community.

His working life has included corporate roles and running multiple businesses. He has always believed in self-sufficiency, personal responsibility and earning his way.

Community service has always been important to David. He has served as a CFA volunteer, coached children’s sport, been a Cub Scout Leader, led World War I commemoration services and serves on an RSL sub-branch committee. These roles have reinforced the values of responsibility, community and respect.

David is standing as a One Nation candidate because he believes we need a stronger focus on everyday Victorians, individual freedom and safety, family, community, and responsible government.

He is particularly concerned about the deterioration of Victoria’s financial position and the direct impact it is having on the financial wellbeing and way of life of families, friends and colleagues. After four decades in the workforce, he has seen the consequences of governments spending beyond their means and increasing the burden on families and businesses.

"We are now seeing cost-of-living pressures where some of the most financially vulnerable Victorians face difficult choices between paying the electricity bill and putting food on the table."

He is also standing for safer communities and a tougher approach to crime, so Victorians can go about their daily lives without the fear of carjackings, home invasions and random assaults.

"Victoria should be a place where families can work hard, get ahead, raise their children safely, build a home, run a business and enjoy a good quality of life."

David is putting his hand up to give ordinary Victorians a strong voice in Parliament and to stand up for the values and freedoms that have made Victoria a great place to live.

Family. Freedom. Responsibility. Community.

These are the principles he has lived by, and the principles he will take into public life.
