Like many small and medium businesses across Victoria, Darren Hercus has seen conditions worsen dramatically, with rising costs, massive tax increases and a sharp downturn in work hitting local industry hard.

After seeing his business face a 40 percent drop in activity and land taxes soar, Darren Hercus decided it was time to stand up and speak out.
